Healthy Chocolate Dessert (Warm Chocolate Mousse) – Serves 2
Ingredients for a Healthy Chocolate Dessert:
- 6 egg whites
- 4 scoops of protein powder
- 2 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 of a teaspoon of stevia
- 1 heaping tablespoon of almond butter
It’s a wise idea to choose a good tasting protein powder and there are a few out there that taste great. If you use a chocolate protein powder you need only use 1 table of unsweetened cocoa. If not chocolate protein powder, vanilla will suffice.
Put all ingredients but the almond butter in a blender and mix until a consistent mixture. Pour into a bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Take out and break up the tablespoon of almond butter into smaller chunks and spread into mixture. Microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 more minutes (until solid). Then it’s ready to serve. Yummy.
