When you go to the movies it’s not rare to see some of Hollywood’s A-lister’s showing off their bodies. But did you know that even some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood have body doubles? Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Evan Rachel Wood, Angelina Jolie, Kate Beckinsale, and yes even Halle Berry!!! How can this be you ask?
A) It’s much, much easier to look good in clothes than to look good naked.
B) Really fit people have great butts, skinny people…not so much.
Looking Good Just From The Front
Being thin can make you look not only great in clothes but also you’ll look good from certain angles when in a bikini, such as when viewed straight on. Even from the side you can look okay except for the absence of much of a butt or the slight but oh-so-important curve of well-developed hamstrings.
Now from behind is where everything falls apart, and this is exactly why these Hollywood starlets need body doubles. They do not look good from behind because most of them don’t train properly.
When your goal is just to be lean (instead of looking good in a bikini) you are bound to look less than great naked. Ultimately your actions are going to follow through on your desired outcome. If you aren’t training to look fantastic from the back, it’s not going to happen by accident.
What all these Hollywood stars know is that the camera is merciless at exposing your true self. When stripped down to a bikini or even less you have to look good. Most of these actresses eat decently and workout but they do so to merely look thin. They are not trying to build the kind of muscle that, while still remaining very tiny, also makes you look good naked.
I Don’t Want My Butt Too Get Big
Let’s dispel this myth once and for all. Your butt won’t get too big from direct glute training. If you eat smart to get lean you’ll have a small yet perky butt. Even if you are predisposed to being a curvier girl, training your booty will only make it look waaaaaay better.
I can tell you this much, don’t train your booty and hamstrings and they will look bad…guaranteed!
Train Smart, Look Great
Personally I love yoga but I would never recommend it as the only thing you do to stay in shape. Why? Your glutes and hamstrings don’t get enough work. Ditto for jogging, pilates, heck just about most typical exercise programs. Don’t get me wrong, these exercise routines have a lot to offer…but they are not complete.
On the other hand, just a little sprint training alongside a well-thought out body weight strength training routine that is specifically designed to build the muscles you will need for sprinting…well…this kind of training makes women look incredible from behind.
Aim high. Look great.
